Les Comes is more than just a farm. It is the place where everything begins. A cherished and carefully tended space by Miquel, a farmer by vocation and son of farmers, who decided to reclaim the family lands as an act of love for the territory and what it represents. This return to the origin was not only physical but vital: a life project that closes the circle between farming, gastronomy, and hospitality.
Les Comes consists of two properties located in the municipality of Albatàrrec: La Planella and El Tossal. It is in these places that Miquel, with effort and perseverance, has restored wild trees and ancient varieties that had fallen into oblivion. Here coexist centennial olive trees, old vineyards, fruit trees such as the ceremenya pear, medlar, white hawthorn, escavallicos, and loquats, as well as a lively vegetable garden. Medicinal plants and aromatic herbs also grow here, forming part of a slow and mindful way of life.
Many of the ingredients used at Dit i Fet come from this small agricultural universe cared for with love. Some elements of Casa Quimeta, such as furniture made from wood of fallen trees, also originate here.
At Les Comes, time passes at a different pace. It is a place that reminds us of where we come from and shows us that innovating can also mean looking back. Here, the territory is not just landscape: it is memory, commitment, and future.
