Recognitions and Awards
When a project is born from the heart and worked on with hands, every recognition is understood as a gift. For Marta and Miquel, none of the awards they have received over the years have been a goal, but rather a natural consequence of a way of doing things based on effort, respect for the land, and love for detail.
The case of Dit i Fet is a good example. With a clear commitment to coques de recapte as a symbol of gastronomic identity, their work has been recognized in various competitions. The most notable was the award for Best Savory Coca in Catalonia 2016, granted by the newspaper ARA and Catalunya Ràdio, for an innovative proposal: the coca with fresh octopus and quail egg. A surprising, creative coc, while remaining faithful to the maritime and farming traditions of the territory.
This award not only highlighted the quality of the products used and the technique in their preparation, but also a deeper philosophy: innovating without betraying the essence. It is precisely this spirit that connects Dit i Fet with Casa Quimeta and Les Comes. Every corner of the project, every recipe, and every restored detail is based on a respectful look back and a courageous gaze forward.
In addition to this award, Dit i Fet has been invited to participate in gastronomic, cultural, and media events such as Cultures Trobades (8TV), and regularly collaborates with organizations and groups that promote the recovery of traditional species, like the Col·lectiu Eixarcolant.
Every recognition, big or small, is a push to keep believing in the value of things made slowly, with authenticity. It is also a tribute to all the people who trust this project: those who have taken a coca from Dit i Fet home, those who have rested within the centuries-old walls of Casa Quimeta, or those who have walked on the living land of Les Comes.
Here, there are no individual awards, only shared stories.
