From traditional cocs to the most innovative ones

At Dit i Fet, the coc is much more than a recipe: it’s a language of its own that tells the story of who we are and where we come from. The starting point is always the traditional coc from Tàrrega, a savory flatbread rooted in Catalan country cooking that has remained alive generation after generation. The classic version made by Marta and Miquel follows the traditional recipe, with llonganissa (Catalan sausage), arengada (salt-cured sardine), and zucchini, baked with freshly pressed olive oil—just as it has always been done in the Lleida region.

However, true to the innovative spirit of Dit i Fet, this historical base has become a springboard for creativity. Today, the workshop produces over thirty varieties of cocs, both sweet and savory, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local products from Les Comes.

Among their most recognized cocs, we find:

  • Fresh Octopus Coc with Quail Egg
Awarded Best Savory Coca in Catalonia in 2016.
  • Pig’s Trotter Carpaccio Coc
A tribute to traditional homemade cooking.
  • Girella and Fresh Mushroom Coc
Combining a typical Pyrenean sausage with wild forest ingredients.
  • Cassola de Tros Coc
A reinterpretation of this rustic dish in coc format.
  • Anchovy Coc with Hummus
A fusion that brings together the sea and the garden.

There are also creations designed for special occasions, such as:

  • The Princess’s Little Garden
A delicate coc with floral flavors to celebrate Sant Jordi.
  • The Travel Coc
Created for pilgrims on the Way of Saint James, it’s the traditional Tàrrega coc made with either sardine or sausage.

You’ll also find the “coca tapa”—small bites designed to represent the region, each made with ingredients that reflect the different Catalan counties. Constant experimentation keeps Dit i Fet’s offerings in continuous evolution. The combination of craftsmanship, deep knowledge of the territory, and a passion for gastronomy has led them to explore new flavors without losing the essence of the coca. From the simplest to the most elaborate versions, every creation maintains a commitment to local products and the quality that defines the project.
