Dit i Fet opened its doors on December 28, 1999, with the excitement of combining tradition and innovation in the world of baking. Leading the project are Marta and Miquel, two food lovers who have turned the coca (a traditional Catalan flatbread, often sweet or savory) into a high-quality product. With a long background in the sector, Marta comes from a family of three generations of bakers and, after years of training and experience in the food industry, decided to return to her roots to reinvent the star product of her land: the coc. With her warm and festive personality, Marta celebrates the most iconic dates of the year – such as the Castanyada, Christmas gastronomy, Easter, the Theatre Fair or Sant Joan – with themed decorations and accessories that make these festivities even more special.

Since day one, Miquel has been a key pillar to ensure the continuity of the project and is also the driving force behind the most creative recipes: signature cocs.

The philosophy of Dit i Fet has always been clear: working with local ingredients, betting on quality, and recovering traditional recipes without giving up innovation. Today, Dit i Fet is a local reference in the making of coques de recapte — a traditional Catalan flatbread topped with roasted vegetables — and other specialties, keeping the rich culinary heritage of Tàrrega and Catalonia alive.
